Ver Joseff Lumod is a Filipino filmmaker based in New Orleans. Born and raised in the Philippines, he moved to the United States in 2016.

Ver graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2023 with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking. His thesis film, FINE TIME, was featured at San Diego Filipino Film Festival as part of their Virtual Cinema selection in the same year.

EVIL EYE premiered at Crescent City Film Festival in 2025 after initially being made for the 2024 Louisiana Film Prize. Ver is also set to release another short film, UNINSPIRED, this year.

Ver’s favorite films include Drive My Car, My Night at Maud’s, Persona, The Novelist’s Film, Mulholland Drive, and Manila in the Claws of Light.
